Comprised of a steady hypnotic Afrocentric bass lick bumping upon a smooth carpet of trap drum work, accompanied by a strong "Afro-Carrib" percussive rithmic ride; "this tune" it's said, "causes some listeners to actually visualize the West African baboon (Mandrill), appear from a distance and move steadilly through the tall grass of the African plains". This song was adopted as Mandrill's theme song and serves as a kick-ass opener for many Mandrill concerts.

This fourteen minute Wilson Brother's composition takes the listener through many movements.Ranging from the musical birth of Earth, to a rock-funk vocal harmonic statement on Love, through some urban riffs (Jazz), the song settles in for awhile with the delivery of a heart-felt lead vocal by Carlos Wilson, then culminates in the "Peace and Love" chant that rides atop a carriage of 6/8 percussion which sets the meter for the procession forward to Mother Africa where life began............
